In The Neighborhood
A parkside hideaway with a bounty of historic apartment buildings and homes
Known as "Brooklyn's best secret" by its residents, Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a lively and vibrant residential neighborhood in the borough of Brooklyn. This area is home to lush, leafy streets, and a spectacular collection of intact 19th and 20th-century buildings with access to the borough’s biggest green space, Prospect Park. Welcome to the Upper West Side of Brooklyn!

Around The Block
Originally the property of gentleman farmer James Lefferts, the area became a destination for the wealthy in the 19th century, leading to the creation of the neighborhood’s stock of beautiful homes. As those residents moved out, a more diverse population moved in; today, Prospect-Lefferts Garden is the locus of Caribbean-American culture in Brooklyn. It’s become a magnet for young families who love the porches and backyard gardens that many properties offer.
